Professor Harald zur Hausen has been nominated Honorary Fellow of the WHBA in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements and engagement to actions of support to Greece. His support to Greece was demonstrated by his initiative to compose a letter signed by 22 Nobel Laureates and distinguished scientists urging the political leaders of the European Union and the members of the European Parliament to keep research funding flow up as the only way to promote innovation and development in Greece.
