"1821-2021: From Heroes of Greek Independence to Pioneers in Medicine and Biosciences"

The WHBA is partnering with the University of Crete and "Attica Sciences, Inc." to fund a PhD thesis and publication of a book titled "1821-2021: From Heroes of Greek Independence to Pioneers in Medicine and Biosciences". This activity is organized in light of the upcoming year of 2021, which coincides with the 200 years anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
The objective of this project pertains to demonstration of the most prominent scientific contributions of Greek physicians and biomedical scientists in the last 200 years. ​
