Medical training in Australia

Provided by Dr. Nicholas Kasmeridis, MBBS, FRACP - Adelaide, Australia -  nkasmeri [at] gmail.com

The decision for acceptance for medical training in Australia is under supervision of the Australian Medical Council.
The criteria seems to change often and information is updated on their website.

Generally medical posts are limited in Australia and usually graduates are given jobs in hospitals who are unable to fill their quote from local graduates.

Australian Medical Authorities expect high standard proficiency in English and many overseas medical graduates are frequently requested to repeat significant amount of medical training if high standards are not met.
